One of four 22-inch LCD models in the Hanns•G family of desktop monitors, the HG216D doesn’t quite fall into the budget monitor category, but at $259.99 (list) it offers consumers an affordable way to move up to a 1,680-by-1,050 widescreen display with HDMI connectivity. The trade-offs are patchy performance and an otherwise underwhelming feature set.
